For the last 20 years, Jerry Deneen has been employed as a deputy with Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in Palm Beach County Florida.
Jerry’s work experience consists of 6 years of service in the United States Army, 19 years of law enforcement experience and 16 years of SWAT experience. During his time in law enforcement, he has worked as a uniform patrol officer, a member of a street crimes team (with focus on both uniform and plain clothes narcotic and prostitution enforcement), a field training officer, a high liability trainer in his agency’s training division all while serving as an operator and trainer on the agency’s SWAT team. As a member of the agency’s SWAT team, he assists in planning and executing approximately 175 SWAT operations a year to include high risk warrant service, barricaded suspects, hostage rescue, vehicle suppressions and dignitary protection. Jerry has written his agency’s SWAT manual, SWAT Close Quarters Clearing SOP and runs the Basic and Advanced SWAT school for the county.
Jerry’s work experience with 88 Tactical consists of approximately 3 years of service. During this time, he has worked as an instructor in High Threat CQC Instructor Course, Hostage Rescue, Vehicle Suppression & Tactics, and Basic SWAT Course.
In his free time, Jerry enjoys spending time with his family to include, his girlfriend, daughter, pug Bo, and Belgian Malinois Onyx. He also enjoys exercising and fishing the beautiful waters of Southeast Florida.
