John Calabro, PA-C, is currently practicing as a Physician Assistant. He is a graduate of the United States Inter-Service Physician Assistant School (US Army) and is trained in neurosurgery as well as emergency, tactical, and wilderness medicine.
In 2010, Calabro retired from the US Army’s 195th Special Operations group (528th Special Operations, Fort Bragg) with 21 years service, both active and reserve. He served as NCO and retired at the rank of Major. He has been deployed to multiple countries in Central America, Asia, and Africa. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving in Iraq from 2005-2007, and has served with US Army Reconnaissance Surveillance and Acquisition, Long Range Surveillance, and US Special Operations groups.
Calabro holds multiple certifications in medical and tactical skills, has instructed US military, foreign military, and civilian personnel. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the United States Special Operations Medical Association.
