Food & Beverage Department Manager
Matt Davenport brings 19 years of industry experience to his role as 88 Tactical’s Food & Beverage Department Manager. He oversees the production and personnel in the Ammo Box Café and the Founders Club. Matt graduated from Omaha’s Institute for the Culinary Arts in 2008 and has worked in every state west of the Rocky Mountains (including Alaska!), professionally cooking and serving 1.3 million meals to Wildland Forest Firefighters. Matt is incredibly well-traveled, expanding his culinary experience and influences. He has road tripped to 46 of our 50 states and backpacked across Asia for six months, where he enjoyed cuisine in 12 different countries.
Matt has lived in numerous cities, including Denver, Seattle, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Oregon, Phoenix, and now Omaha. 88 Tactical’s Ammo Box Café is the 13th business Matt has helped open in his career. Drawing from his wealth of culinary knowledge, Matt works to create unique and positive food experiences for every guest and member.
