The addition of Tony Eduardo to the Instructor Team illustrates the breadth of 88 Tactical’s range, both geographically and educationally. Although Tony’s permanent residence is a coastal town in south Brazil, he travels relentlessly for both work and play.

Eduardo is a third degree jiu-jitsu black belt under the instruction of Rilion Gracie. He has trained with the Gracie family for over 20 years, and has earned countless medals competing, including South American Champion, Asian Champion, American Champion, ADCC trials Champion, and Worlds medalist. Tony also participates in shooting sports, and has won the IPSC National Championship twice.

Eduardo has partnered with UFC Hall of Fame member Royce Gracie to run a weapons retention program in Brazil. Their curriculum is focused on self-defense and unarmed combat. Most recently, Gracie and Eduardo taught their program to SEALS in Coronado. Tony brings a mix of world renowned credentials, and tremendous positive energy to the 88 Tactical team.
