Competitive Shooting Skill Builder
Pistol Practice Session
Students who have taken Intro to Competitive Shooting are encouraged to enroll in the 1-hour Competitive Shooting Skill Builder sessions. Participants will be given a specific skill to focus on during two runs through a challenging competition course. These events are meant to be fun and challenging, but they also simulate self-defense scenarios and real-life encounters.
- Eye and ear protection
- Pistol in proper working order (to be unloaded and stored in case prior to arrival)
- Minimum of two magazines
- 50 rounds of quality ammunition
- A belt-mounted spare magazine carrier is recommended.
Students must be at least 18 years old, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The student or parent/legal guardian signing the waiver must have a valid government issued I.D. *Must have basic familiarity with your chosen handgun.
The required equipment is available for purchase or rent prior to class. This is a great way to try a handgun before you purchase.
*Lunch, dinner and snacks are available for purchase at the Ammo Box Café inside the Range & Readiness Center.
Students who cancel or reschedule a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of a class will receive a full refund in the form of store credit. Cancelling or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance or “No-Shows” will result in forfeiture of 50% of payments and fees (50% will be returned in the form of store credit). 88 Tactical reserves the right to cancel any course offered due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, all students will receive a full refund or credit applied to another class.
