Intermediate Carbine Course Structure
Intermediate Carbine is divided into two progressive levels. Upon passing the final level, students qualify to take the Advanced Qualification. Completion of all Intermediate Handgun levels and passing the qualification are required unless waived by the training department.
intermediate CARBINE
LEVEL 1
This course teaches students to hone their ability to shoot on the move, transition between targets, and maintain tight shot placement while increasing tempo.
COURSE RATE: $95
- Eye and ear protection
- Rifle in proper working order (unloaded and stored in the case before arrival)
- Three or more magazines
- Sling, optic (highly recommended)
- 250 rounds of quality ammunition
- Long Sleeve shirt
- 2.5 hours
- Must be at least 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The student or parent/legal guardian signing the waiver must have a valid government-issued I.D.
- Must have completed Basic Carbine levels and Basic Rifle Qualification
Intermediate CARBINE
LEVEL 2
Students will advance their skills with cover-based shooting tactics and dynamic positional work. They will learn to engage targets from and around barricades, effectively utilizing both dominant and support-side techniques for enhanced adaptability in real-world scenarios.
COURSE RATE: $95
- Eye and ear protection
- Rifle in proper working order (unloaded and stored in the case before arrival)
- Three or more magazines
- Sling, optic (highly recommended)
- 250 rounds of quality ammunition
- Long Sleeve shirt
- 2.5 hours
- Must be at least 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The student or parent/legal guardian signing the waiver must have a valid government-issued I.D.
- Must have completed Intermediate Rifle Level 1
Intermediate Carbine Qualification
The Intermediate Qualification allows students to demonstrate the skills and knowledge gained throughout the course. To pass, students must achieve a score of 80% or higher within three attempts, with each stage completed within a set time limit.*
Upon successful completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion, a custom pin, and access to the next level of handgun training.

- Minimum of 3 magazines
- Sling
- 50 rounds of quality ammunition
- Must be at least 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The student or parent/legal guardian signing the waiver must have a valid government-issued I.D.
- Must have completed Intermediate Carbine Levels or waived by the training department.
*If students do not pass within three attempts, they can repeat any class in the level at half price for additional practice. For personalized instruction, contact us at training@88tactical.com. Once ready, students can retake the qualification at the same price.
