Low Light Applications Course
This 3-hour course is designed for shooters using either an RDS-equipped pistol or an iron-sight-only handgun. Students will learn to identify threats, deploy a handgun, and make sound decisions in reduced-light environments.
Low-light shooting presents challenges not found during daylight training, including target identification, flashlight integration, sight acquisition, visual distractions, and the use of cover and concealment. This fast-paced course covers practical techniques for defensive handgun use in low-light conditions.
This is not a beginner-level handgun course. Students should have successfully completed RDS Practical, Intermediate Handgun Level 3, or equivalent training.

- Unloaded firearm stored in a case

- Eye and ear protection
- 200 rounds of ammunition
Students must be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The student or parent/guardian signing the waiver must present a valid government-issued ID. Students must have completed RDS Practical, Intermediate Handgun Level 3, or equivalent training.
Students who cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before class will receive a full store credit. Cancellations, reschedules within 72 hours, or no-shows will forfeit 50% of payments and fees, with the remaining 50% issued as store credit. 88 Tactical reserves the right to cancel a course due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If canceled, students will receive a full refund or credit toward another class.
