Basic Youth Gun Safety Course
Basic Youth Gun Safety is a 3-hour, family-oriented class for children ages 7-12. Students are taught firearms safety and are introduced to various shooting sports and activities.
This gun safety course for youth will teach students the basic operation of a .22 rimfire rifle, shooting fundamentals, cleaning and storage, and range rules and etiquette.
The instructor will also discuss replica guns, airsoft guns, pellet guns, etc., and students will try to identify photos of real guns vs. replica guns. The same safety rules apply when dealing with replica guns, and the orange barrel tips should never be covered or removed.
The Basic Youth Gun Safety course is taught in a way and in language kids can easily understand. Class sizes are limited to ten students to create the opportunity for more personalized instruction.
Eye and ear protection.
Children ages 7-12, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
