This class hones in on each individual’s abilities and actions at the micro level, placing students in scenarios that demand realistic reactions and skills. Every response is analyzed and debriefed in extreme detail, ensuring precision, understanding, and growth.
Topics Covered in Our tactical dynamics course
This course introduces movement and transitioning to cover while maintaining accurate shot placement. Expect drills that push decision-making, agility, and control.
- Move-stop-shoot drills (offensive/defensive)
- Shoot no shoot decision making
- Shooting on the move with directional changes
- Integrated cover usage during movement
- Rifle to Pistol transitons
Tactical Dynamics Equipment Requirements
- Eye and ear protection
- Handgun only, Rifle only or both combined in proper working order (unloaded and stored in the case before arrival)
- Three or more magazines for each weapon system
- Sling, optic, battle belt (highly recommended)
- 150 rounds of quality Rifle ammunition
- 50 rounds of quality Pistol ammunition
- Proper clothing
- 2 to 2.5 hours on the range
What to Wear to Tactical dynamics
We care about your safety, which is why we recommend you wear the following to your handgun proficiency course:
- Eye and ear protection
- Closed-toe, durable shoes or boots
- Comfortable clothing that can easily adjust to the temperature of both the classroom and shooting range
- A belt sturdy enough to support your holster and firearm
- Avoid low-cut tops, tank tops, or clothing with excessive openings that could allow hot brass to contact your skin
Tactical Dynamics Training Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 18
- Must have completed Intermediate Carbine and/or Intermediate Pistol Qualification. Must have both completed, if you wish to use a rifle and pistol during the class.
