Women’s SELF Defense Course
Addressing the issue of sexual violence on college campuses, on a date, or suddenly attacked, self-defense training can be one of the ways to empower women and enhance their personal safety. Led by a female Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, this course teaches students techniques to neutralize unwanted attacks and defend against common forms of physical assault can potentially increase confidence and provide practical skills for self-protection.

- Escape the creepy hugs
- Hair pulls
- Choke defense
- Basic mount and back escapes
- Arms pinned
- Comfortable gym or workout attire
- Water or sport drink and/or energy bar
Students must be at least 13 years old and have no significant underlying health issues. Parents/legal guardians with a legal, government issued ID must sign the waiver for any child under 18 years old.
