Intro to Suppressors Course
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to firearm suppressors, covering their safe use, operation, and maintenance.
The Intro to Suppressors course consists of a mix of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on training, allowing students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Students will learn about the different types of suppressors, their benefits, and how to choose the right one for their needs. The course also covers suppressor cleaning and maintenance, legal considerations, and the impact of suppressors on hearing protection.
Get ready to experience the sound reduction firsthand! A variety of suppressors in different calibers will be available for students to try and test in class.
The required equipment is available for purchase or rent prior to class. This is a great way to try a suppressor before you purchase one. You do not need to own a suppressor before this class as we will provide multiple for testing. If you already own a suppressor, you can bring it to this class.
- Eye and ear protection
- Limited ammunition will be provided for testing purposes (students are welcome to purchase their own for extended practice)
Students must be at least 18 years old, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The student or parent/legal guardian signing the waiver must have a valid government issued I.D.
