Free Active Threat Seminar Series

In light of recent events, 88 Tactical is releasing a series of our Active Threat Seminars that will be free of charge for the local community.

We are thankful for the swift action of the Omaha Police Department and first responders during Tuesday’s active shooter incident at the West Omaha Target to resolve this emergency situation before it escalated, ensuring the safety of all retail guests and employees at the scene. As a result of this terrifying incident, we understand that individuals not trained to deal with such situations can be left feeling helpless, fearful, and anxious about going to public places. To assist in restoring confidence to those individuals, or individuals who are experiencing similar anxiety, we are offering a series of free training seminars as a service to our community. Regardless of previous training or experience level, we can help individuals discover their confidence and develop their skills responding in an emergency situation.

88 Tactical is proud to be a trusted community resource and is dedicated to recruiting and retaining the industry’s most experienced instructor cadre from the special operations military, law enforcement, and fire and rescue. Students get the opportunity to learn techniques from instructors with first responder experience and who are well equipped to help them develop their confidence and ability to deal with any situation or crisis.
