Basic Youth Gun Safety is a 3-hour, family-oriented class for children ages 7-12. Students are taught firearms safety and are introduced to various shooting sports and activities.
Basic Youth Gun Safety class will teach students the basic operation of a .22 rimfire rifle, shooting fundamentals, cleaning and storage, and range rules and etiquette.
The instructor will also discuss replica guns, airsoft guns, pellet guns, etc., and students will try to identify photos of real guns vs. replica guns. The same safety rules apply when dealing with replica guns, and the orange barrel tips should never be covered or removed. Students are also advised on what to do if they are ever contacted by Law Enforcement.
The Basic Youth Gun Safety course is taught in a way and in language kids can easily understand. Class sizes are limited to six students to create the opportunity for more personalized instruction.

Cancellation Policy – Students who cancel or re-schedule a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of a class will receive a full refund or credit applied toward future classes. Students who cancel or re-schedule less than 72 hours in advance or “No-Shows” will result in forfeiture of 50% of payments and fees. 88 Tactical reserves the right to cancel any course offered due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, all students will receive a full refund or credit applied to another class.
