Intro to Night Vision

Embark on a journey into the world of night vision with our comprehensive class tailored for beginners. Designed to instill confidence and proficiency, this course focuses on safe operation and effective utilization of night vision equipment in low-light conditions.

Participants will engage in hands-on training exercises to enhance their skills and boost their confidence when employing night vision technology. From mounting solutions to adjusting equipment and understanding different types of night vision gear, our expert instructors will cover essential topics to ensure a thorough understanding of the fundamentals.

Led by experienced instructors with real-world expertise in NVG usage during overseas deployments and law enforcement operations, this class provides invaluable insights and practical knowledge. Students will learn the essentials of night vision operations through a dynamic curriculum comprising lectures, demonstrations, terrain walks, dry-fire drills, and live-fire exercises. This class is open to civilians and law enforcement.

  • Carbine with a zeroed optic and sling (*IR aiming devices/lights not required)
  • 3 magazines – Carbine
  • 200 rounds of ammunition – Carbine
  • Handheld/admin light/headlamp
  • Notepad/Pen
  • Spare batteries and tools for equipment
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Water and Snacks
  • Students may utilize battle belts, plate carriers, or chest rigs for this class (*not required)

  • Age 18 and above
  • Must have successfully completed Intro to Carbine or Carbine 1 – or receive instructor permission based off previous trainings or credentials
