Women’s SELF Defense Course
Addressing the issue of sexual violence on college campuses, on a date, or suddenly attacked, self-defense training can be one of the ways to empower women and enhance their personal safety. Led by a female Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, this course teaches students techniques to neutralize unwanted attacks and defend against common forms of physical assault can potentially increase confidence and provide practical skills for self-protection.

- Escape the creepy hugs
- Hair pulls
- Choke defense
- Basic mount and back escapes
- Arms pinned
- Comfortable gym or workout attire
- Water or sport drink and/or energy bar
Students must be at least 17 years old and have no significant underlying health issues. The student or parent/legal guardian signing the waiver must have a valid government issued I.D.
