As 2023 comes to an end, we take a moment to reminisce about the remarkable year we’ve had at 88 Tactical.
Community Engagement
Being an active participant in community events has always been a source of pride for us. This year, we were privileged to contribute to numerous noteworthy occasions, including:
- Herostock 2023
- 5th Annual Wellness Festival hosted by McGrath North
- 50 Mile March
- Community Safety Day hosted by the Bobby Byars Foundation
- CenterSphere Golf Outing benefiting Rejuvenating Women
- Cruise N for a Cause Car & Motorcycle Show hosted by the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office
- Soldiers for Jesus Motorcycle Club Holiday Food & Toy Drive

Community Events
Our calendar overflowed with family-friendly events, including the 88 Tactical Carnival, Star-Spangled Celebration, Summer Block Party, and various Car Shows. We also catered to the tastes of wine and bourbon enthusiasts with events like A Night of Whiskey & Cigars, Four Roses Bourbon Tasting, and Wine Tasting Dinner. These gatherings hold a special place in our hearts as they bring the community together to explore our offerings, make new connections, and relish unique experiences.
Member Events
In appreciation of our members, we curated exclusive events throughout the year, such as Husker Watch Parties, Music Bingo, Taco Tuesday, John Daly Special Appearance, Ladies Night, Ladies Wine & Design, Kids Painting, and Breakfast with Santa (just to name a few). These events provided members with opportunities to socialize, connect, and have a fantastic time.
New Membership Offering
This year, 88 Tactical proudly introduced our Heroes Membership, dedicated to giving back to our courageous first responders and active military members. Active law enforcement, paramedics, firefighters, and military service members are eligible for a FREE Heroes Membership. We believe in providing our heroes with nothing but the best and stand with them in their noble endeavors.
Online Ordering
To enhance convenience for our members and non-members alike, we implemented online ordering. Now, everyone can enjoy the ease of ordering delectable food selections from our exclusive Founders Club restaurant with just a few clicks.
Women’s Only Training Courses
Recognizing the need for specialized training, we added several women’s only training courses to our curriculum, which have been met with resounding success. These courses aim to empower and uplift women by fostering self-confidence and building a supportive community.
Online Training Course for Businesses
Addressing the evolving needs of the professional landscape, we launched our Active Threat Response for Businesses training course online. This comprehensive course covers essential aspects of active shooter response and workplace safety, enabling employees to receive vital training without disrupting business operations.
Pro Series Training Opportunities
In collaboration with industry experts, we reintroduced our Pro Series this year. These specialized courses broaden our training curriculum, offering students an even more comprehensive range of options.
Training Promotions
Throughout the year, we presented several training promotions, including Back to School Defense, Summer Training Promotion, Carbine Promotion, BJJ Membership Promotion, and RDS Retail Promotion. These promotions enabled individuals to access a variety of our top-notch training courses at unbeatable prices.
Giving Back
At 88 Tactical, our commitment extends beyond our immediate endeavors, reaching into the heart of our community. Throughout the past year, we’ve been dedicated to being good neighbors and actively giving back. Through our collective efforts, we have helped raise approximately $125,000. This significant sum was generated through a combination of donations, sponsorships, events, and fundraisers.
88 Tactical also proudly contributed to law enforcement nationwide by donating approximately $50,000 worth of training. These generous donations offered free training opportunities for host agencies and officers who, otherwise, might not have been able to afford it. It is our firm belief that supporting those who protect and serve is not only a responsibility but a privilege.
Our commitment to philanthropy aligns with our belief that a thriving community is built on collaboration, support, and shared responsibility. As we continue to evolve, we look forward to strengthening these bonds and making a positive impact on the lives of those around us.
