Mick Doyle was born in Dublin Ireland. His family has a long tradition of fighters including his great grandfather, Mickey Finn. Mick began Martial Arts training at the age of 7, and has earned a Dan in Wado Ryu Okinawa Karate, a personal trainer certification, a Dan in Mugendo Martial Arts, and his Black Belt in Bushido. Mick went undefeated and become the Irish Kickboxing Champion, and turned professional at 16.

At the age of 18 Mick made the decision to immigrate to the US. At that time his fight record was 50-0. Mick enrolled at Bellevue University in Omaha, Nebraska and studied Exercise Science and Psychology. He then became the full time Fitness Coordinator at Saint Joseph’s Center for Mental Health, and Mick opened his own gym part time.

Mick continued fighting and became the IKKC World Kickboxing champion, and won his second World Title. He was appointed Head Coach of the US Muay Thai team. In 1996, Mick began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Rickson Gracie. He then became the World Budokai bare Knuckle Champion. He was the runner up in the World Shidokan bare Knuckle Championships as well. In 1998, Mick was the Grand Champion of the Bas Rutten Open Jiu Jitsu/ Toughman Contest in Denver, Colorado. He had his last professional fight in 1999. Mick was appointed head coach of Team USA Mixed Martial Arts in 2006, and successfully defeated teams Russia, Poland and Canada that year. Later he became the technical advisor for team USA.

Mick has devoted his energies to his gym and personal training business. He has earned a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and has coached fighters in the UFC. Most recently he worked for a week in Iceland with Conor McGregor and Gunnar Nelson preparing them for their upcoming fights. In 2010, Mick successfully completed Executive Protection school Omaha, NE. He has spent the last 8 years studying firearms and tactics, and he has served on the executive protection detail for numerous world business leaders and celebrities. Mick became an 88 Tactical Senior Instructor in 2018.
